Lorde claims her third #1 single on the Aotearoa Top 20 within six weeks with 'Hammer', the day of release of her much-anticipated Virgin LP. The artist also tops the Aotearoa Hot Chart with the track – bringing her one step closer to beating BENEE’s record as the female artist with the most Aotearoa Hot 20 #1s. Incidentally BENEE appears at #3 on the Chart this week, with her new single ‘Off The Rails’.

American Heart-throb Benson Boone secures his first Top 40 #1 – the 23-year-old also has four singles in the Hot Chart and two in the Top 40. Meanwhile, Alex Warren joins the handful of artists to have clocked 13 weeks at #1 on the Top 40. Pharrell Williams and Boney M share the record for most weeks in the top spot (14).

Marlon Williams once again returns to #1 on the Aotearoa Albums Chart, the week of his NZ tour – which kicked off with an epic Matariki show at Spark Arena on Saturday night. In other Matariki news, the TAWAZ, Stan Walker & Hone feat. HERA, Hops, Neps & Rani collab ‘Mānawa Maiea Matariki’ holds at #1 for a second week on the Tukutahi Te Reo Māori Tiketike 10.
