Noah Kahan bumps Olivia Dean from #1 on the Albums Top 40 this week, with his latest release The Great Divide. Dean continues to hold the lead on the Singles Chart – ‘Man I Need’ passes its 30th week at the top. Kahan cracks the Hot 40 though, with ‘Doors’ becoming the third single from the new record to top the Chart. He also claims spots 2-4 with songs from the LP.
Hori Shaw & Te Wehi’s ‘Ready To Ride’ remains at #1 on the Aotearoa Top 20 – only five singles have spent more weeks at #1 in the history of the Chart. Meanwhile, Six60 have settled in atop the local Albums Chart: Right Here Right Now has held the #1 spot for all but two weeks since its release back in February. Marlon Williams bumps back up to #2 with Te Whare Tīwekaweka, the week of his Taite Music Prize win
Tāmaki rockers Capricore claim their first Aotearoa Hot Chart #1, and Te Matatini hit ‘Kei Wareware i a Tātou’ continues to top the Tukutahi Tiketike 10 Te Reo Māori.
