Oliva Dean Continues in Queen Position, Noah Kahan Tops Hot 40
A stunning GRAMMYs performance and Best New Artist win were never going to put a pin in NZ audiences’ love for Olivia Dean! ‘Man I Need’ first topped the Top 40 in September 2025, and ticks off an 18th week at #1 this week. Similarly, The Art Of Loving has only briefly stepped aside from the lead position on the Albums Chart since its release last October, to give The Life Of A Showgirl its moment.
Lorde chalks up a 10th week at the top of the Aotearoa Top 20 with Virgin – the last studio album to spend 10 weeks at #1 on the Chart was SIX60 (3), almost six years ago. Hori Shaw and Te Wehi mark their 24th wiki at #1 on the Aotearoa Singles Chart, with ‘Ready To Ride’.
Meanwhile, US singer-songwriter Noah Kahan claims his first Hot 40 #1 with ‘The Great Divide’, and Son & Water hit #1 on the Aotearoa Top 20 with ‘SAW’.
Over on Te Reo Chart, House of Shem enter at #4 with ‘Ka Tangi Mōu’ while ‘Tōku Reo Tōku Ohooho’ continues to hold at #1.
