Olivia Dean Does The Double – #1 ON SINGLES & ALBUMS TOP 40

Aotearoa is turning out to be the global cheerleader for UK artist Olivia Dean as the 26-year-old Londoner locks her first international chart double, topping both the Album and Singles Top 40 this week.

The Art Of Loving is Olivia's second album, but her first to chart in NZ, going straight in at #1. Over on the Singles Chart, lead single ‘Man I Need’ holds firm with a third consecutive week on top.

The Top 20 Aotearoa Albums Chart is led once again by Six60, however it’s on the Catalogue Chart that the week's local action happens, as a colour vinyl reissue of Blindspott's self-titled debut album lands at #1. In doing so, the Auckland hard rockers score an unprecedented triple hit – the album reached #1 on the Top 40 on debut in 2002, returned to #1 in 2020 when it was first released on vinyl, and now five years later hits #1 on the Catalogue Chart with this re-release.

The Top 20 Aotearoa Singles Chart sees Hori Shaw and Te Wehi's bilingual collaboration ‘Ready To Ride’ leapfrog solo singles from each of them to return to the #1 spot, while drum n bass makes a solid comeback on the Aotearoa Hot 20 as local duo Lee Mvtthews land their fifth-ever Hot #1 with ‘Made For You’. The song features vocalist , who moved to NZ at 15 after spending her early life growing up on the Isle of Man.

Canadian popstar Tate McRae tops the Hot 40 for an 11th time with her latest hit ‘Tit For Tat’, and the Top 10 Te Reo Māori Chart is led once again by Te Tira Waiata o Te Pukawai and ‘Tōku Reo Tōku Ohooho’.
