OLIVIA DEAN HOLDS STEADY ON TOP 40, 'READY TO RIDE' HITS 20 WEEKS AT #1 ON NZ TOP 20

Olivia Dean heads both the Singles and Albums Top 40 for a ninth week, surpassing a 50-year-old record held by none other than ABBA. The Swedes led the NZ Charts simultaneously with ‘Fernando’ and The Best Of ABBA for eight weeks back in 1976.

Hori Shaw and Te Wehi’s 2025 collab ‘Ready To Ride’ becomes the 10th-ever single to reach 20 weeks at #1 on the Aotearoa Singles Chart, while Lorde’s Virgin remains at #1 on the Albums Top 20 – having first hit the top spot on release in July 2025.

TikTok’s Global Artist of 2025 KATSEYE claim their debut Hot Chart #1 with ‘Internet Girl’, while Te Wehi and Hori Shaw’s latest collab ‘Catch A Wave’ returns to the peak of the Aotearoa Top 20 after a one-week gap.

The Aotearoa Songbook continues to dominate the Tukutahi Te Reo Māori Tiketike 10, with four tracks from the now-classic release featuring alongside a series of TAWAZ collabs and two tracks from Marlon Williams’ celebrated waiata reo LP, Te Whare Tīwekaweka.
