OLIVIA DEAN HOLDS THE LINE AT #1 ON TOP 40 CHARTS
It’s been 22 weeks at the top of the Singles Chart now for Olivia Dean; the artist holds the line at #1 with ‘Man I Need’, also ticking off a 17th week at the peak of the Albums Top 40 with The Art Of Loving – which goes triple platinum this week. In the last 10 years, only Six60 and Ed Sheeran have spent longer at #1 with one album.
Bruno Mars is hot on Dean’s heels though, hitting #2 on the Singles Chart with ‘Risk It All’, and topping the Hot 40 with the same track. It’s Mars’ fifth Hot Chart-topper, and the second from his new album The Romantic – which also lands at #2 on the Albums Chart this week. It’s the fourth studio album from Mars – and the fourth time one of his records has debuted at #2. To date, the artist has spent a total of 165 weeks in the Top 10 of the Singles Chart.
Six60 settle in at the top of the local Top 20, passing a third week at #1 with their latest album Right Here Right Now. Their track ‘Endlessly’ returns to the top of the Hot 20 after a week away, but the lads can’t crack Te Wehi & Hori Shaw’s run at the top of the Aotearoa Singles Chart with ‘Catch A Wave’. Since April 2025, only Lorde (7 weeks) and Six60 (2 weeks) have kept either Te Wehi or Hori Shaw out of the top spot.
‘Tōku Reo Tōku Ohooho’ continues to lead the Te Reo Singles Top 10 this wiki.
