OLIVIA DEAN MATCHES SIX60, ELLA LANGLEY STILL KILLS WITH CHOOSIN’ TEXAS

It’s been five years since an album last spent 26 weeks at #1 on the Top 40 – Olivia Dean’s The Art Of Loving catches up with Six60 this week, whose third album was the last to do so. Ella Langley remains at #1 on the Singles Top 40 for an 18th week with ‘Choosin' Texas’.

Six60 return to the top of the Aotearoa Albums Chart this week after a six-week gap, with Right Here Right Now. Hori Shaw and Te Wehi still hold the reins on the Aotearoa Singles Chart, chalking up a 44th wiki at #1 with ‘Ready To Ride’.

ADÉLA clocks a second week at #1 on the Hot 40 with breakout track ‘Nicole Kidman’, while Te Wehi lands at #3 with ‘What Ya Talking Bout’ – which also tops the Aotearoa Hot 20, his 12th tune to do so. BENEE is the only solo artist to have more local Hot Chart-toppers (15).

TAWAZ, Stan Walker and Hone return to #1 on te Tukutahi Tiketike 10 Te Reo Māori with ‘Mānawa Maiea Matariki’. It’s their 13th wiki in the top spot with the waiata, which also features HERA, Hops, Neps and Rani. Stan Walker’s latest track ‘KĀINGA’ also enters the Chart at #3.
