OLIVIA STARTS 2026 RIGHT, LORDE RETURNS TO TOP OF AOTEAROA ALBUMS CHART

Olivia Dean's reign on the Top 40 shows no sign of waning. 'Man I Need' has now spent more weeks at #1 than any single by a solo female artist, while only 6 UK artists have an album that has spent longer at #1 on the Official Albums Chart. As well as maintaining her grip on the #1 single, Olivia has 3 other tracks in the Top 10 and 7 in total in the Top 40.

Virgin provides Lorde with a 5th week at #1 on the Aotearoa Albums Chart, returning to the top spot after a gap of nine weeks, and Hori Shaw and Te Wehi spend a 19th week at #1 on the Aotearoa Singles Chart.

Six60 reclaim the #1 position on the Aotearoa Hot 20, as Aussie house producer Sonny Fodera lands a debut Hot Chart #1, helped by UK producer D.O.D and UK singer Poppy Baskcomb. The Aotearoa Songbook continues to dominate the Tukutahi Te Reo Māori Tiketike 10.
